Franchise on Demand is an additional mystery shop program that allows you to order your own mystery shops specific to your location. These shops can be ordered as a one-time occurrence or on a recurring basis.

How is Franchise On Demand different from Junktion-funded mystery shops?

The Franchise on Demand program is different from the Junktion-led mystery shops as you can control the timing and assignment of your teams to the mystery shop. These additional shops are outside the annual four mystery shops funded by the Junktion and will require you to pay.

Why would I order my own shop?

Ordering your own shop gives you the chance to proactively assess how well your team delivers on the Exceptional Focus Areas (EFAs) and to identify any possible loss prevention issues. You are also able to control which team is sent to the job allowing you to review specific truck teams.

What types of shops can I order?

You can order three types of shop scenarios:

1. Cash Removal:

In this scenario, the shopper will complete the job from start to finish. The shopper will schedule an appointment, complete the interaction onsite, and have the Truck Team Members follow through with the removal. In this scenario, the shopper will be required to pay with cash. You may target a specific area by selecting specific zip/postal codes. Shoppers will ask for a cash discount to determine if truck team members follow protocol or not.

2. Removal:

In this scenario, the shopper will complete the job from start to finish. The shopper will schedule an appointment, complete the interaction onsite, and have the Truck Team Members follow through with the removal. In this scenario, the shopper will pay by card. You may target a specific area by selecting specific zip/postal codes. Shoppers will ask for a discount to determine if truck team members follow protocol or not.

3. Cancellation:

In this scenario, the shopper will schedule an appointment, complete the interaction onsite, and decline the removal.

What are special features that come with an order?

Shop Alert: You will receive an email alert with the shopper’s zip/postal code, date, and promise window so that you may assign a specific truck team to the route, if desired. This notification is sent within 48 hours before the scheduled arrival window.
Cash Job: You can request that the shopper pay with cash-only onsite. Please see the pricing above as the rate varies.
Additional Access: If you identify a new user within your franchise who is not currently on the list to receive mystery shops, they will also receive access to the BARE dashboard to review completed shops and have access to various data.

How do I order a mystery shop?

How will I get the results of the shop?

Once the shop is completed, you will receive a completed evaluation form to the email you provided in the online order form. You will also see this completed shop in your dashboard. Please note it takes about 1-3 weeks for the shop to be completed.

Will the results of my shop be available somewhere central?

Yes. The dashboard you have from BARE will also show your completed FOD shops. You can see all of the completed shops at once or create specific views. This dashboard has a record of all evaluations completed for your franchise, both Junktion-funded and Franchise on Demand. You can also view reports, data analyses, and insights and trends over time.

What are the costs of the shop?

The cost of the shop depends on location, type of shop requested, country and any additional services. Please note that in the U.S. certain states may incur a higher charge. Please note that the pricing below is in US dollars:

If you choose either of the removal shops, you will need to reimburse the minimum load amount. The shopper will only be reimbursed up to the amount that you agree to reimburse, starting at the minimum volume price. For example, if you only request a minimum volume removal and the shopper agrees to remove in excess of that amount, the additional value is at the shopper’s expense.

Remember, the customer will be at minimum paying you back the reimbursement amount onsite, so it will count as revenue for your franchise. The bottom line additional costs of having the shopper complete the removal are labor, dump fees, and royalties. You may also be able to upsell the shopper and encourage them to have more than the minimum amount removed, which can help counteract the shop fees.

Cash-only removals shops are priced higher due to administrative costs around ensuring the shopper has enough cash and as an incentive for shoppers to participate in these types of shops.
